Buying new clothes. Be careful what you say to your wife
Some time ago when renovating the master bedroom I had to move the clothes closet and I had to empty it out first.
I found a lot of clothes of my wife that were old and which I had never seen her wear in the 8 years we are together.
So I told her to get rid of them but she insisted that she had to keep them.
And I told her that if she wouldn't wear them they were useless. And some of them didn't even fit anymore so I told her to clean out and then after the pregnancy we would go shopping and buy new clothes.
You can see where this is going, can you?
So today I get home after work, and my wife tells me that she took out the old clothes and put them in the hallway.
It is becoming even more obvious now, isn't it?
I walk into the hallway and I find a pile of clothes which is 1 meter wide at the base, and a meter high.
I should have kept my bloody mouth shut..
Me: Honey, is there anything left in your closet?
She: You told me that you were going to pay for new clothes when I got rid of the old ones.
Me: But I didn't mean ALL of them...
She: We are going shopping next weekend, and you are going to pay. You said so yourself.
Me:Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

yeah....sometimes, I think it would be cheaper just to buy another house!
....but then, I'm sure, her logic would be "New clothes....new house....new ????"
...and I've always come to the conclusion that it's just better not to kick that particular sleepin' dog!
YMMV - and, for your OWN sake, hope that it DOES!
