Happy New Year.
So it's down to the wire. A new year and a new decade. How do you plan bringing it all in?
You gonna party hearty or be a party pooper and stay home and stare at the T.V
In this neck of the woods on the North Face of Wheeler Peak we like to ring in the new year by going out into the national forest and finding some black bear hibernating for the winter and throwing some firecrackers into his den. Cousin Clem used to try and drag the poor critter out until one time the bear was faster than him. We now call him lefty. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

At my 09:00 break at work today I saw that it was the new year in Japan.
So we celebrated it then.
I got that out of my system.

I enjoyed a couple of hours with some neighbors next door with a fire in the fire-pit and a nice bottle of Laphroiag. I came home early (i.e. walked next door) to mess around on SRP, maybe hone a razor or two, and (probably) fall asleep early watching Ken Burns documentaries with the dog-friends, that's living!
There are many roads to sharp.

Quiet one here.
Just me and the misses and she’s already asleep in her recliner hehe.
Opened a Christmas present and toasted with my son before he took off.
First time tasting Japanese whiskey. Different, lighter almost floral kinda flavour up front, then a pepper finish and some heat. Interesting.
Cheers gents, hope you are all safe and well.

Headed over to some long time friends to play family games, laugh, and be merry. May the best of this year be the worst of the next.
