Brooch pin, used to keep a cloak or plaid around the shoulders. That's a nicely done, hand forged piece.

Is the pointy piece locked in place somehow so it doesn't move around the ring? Eye removing tool. Nice!

Interesting snake scrolls on the ends. I may have to try them too. Not sure where though. Not much call for broach pins these days.
