Busy, busy, busy...
Been lurking lately because we are in the middle of selling our house and moving 200 miles west to retire for real away from the annual hurricane "adventures" we face here in Nags Head, NC every summer/fall. In the meantime I'll be around, just quieter than usual.
Love the folks on this forum! You've been my link to sanity while we hide and pack my "stuff" to get ready to sell. Shave on!Just call me Harold

Just did that move last summer - we sold the house and took an interim step of moving into an apartment for a while. I can sympathize. So much work! Good luck.

Good luck Harold. And be sure to rest now and then. Our bodies dont bouce back as well as they used to so be careful. I spent the last 3 days in bed and doc visits because of my Back. No fun but i got a lot of honing and tv watching done. I hate tv!

Sounds like a good move, Harold. I know you have enjoyed living there. New chapter!
I have decided moving is best left to movers anymore. It's what they do!

Exciting, hard work, and so much fun when it’s all done. Congrats and good luck.

Hey folks! Packed and moving this week. Looking forward to being away from the edge of the Atlantic after 16 years here, and moving near a real city area, Raleigh, NC (but in the distant suburbs). Be offline for the week. Will be back when stones/strops/other gear and razors are unpacked. Will be double edging or cartridge shaving with canned goo to get by until my return to SRP. May grow a beard once we're get past the bankers and lawyers.

Recommended stress relief first suggested to me by my older brother. Works every time. Quote, "A little alcohol helps."
"The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."
