I used to work a variation of the Southern Swing Shift. One hour change don't mean squat to me.

If the sun shines in the window that is not a sign it is time to get up to me!

The biggest issue I have experienced is twice though we have shown up to church when the other people were leaving.........

Only in Canada Eh.

The funny thing about this article is that even though it mentions that Saskatchewan was one of the first Canadian provinces to adopt DST, it doesn't mention that they abandoned it in 1959.

I've read a LOT about DST, but this is the first time I've ever heard that one before!

For me, owning a small business, retirement probably means the eternal sense.
There is a bill in the State House in Florida to abolish the time change. I think, but I could be wrong, that it would stay daylight saving time all year. Maybe it's the other way.

There is a movement in the Province of British Columbia to stop the twice a year time change.

I hate getting up and driving to work in the dark, but I will enjoy the extra hour of light in the evening as I'll be able to take my Blue Heeler for a long walk after work, which is healthy for both of us.

It's looming down here too, takes me over a week to get used to it.

Yes, I'm forever hopeful that this will be the last one I have to deal with. I work in mental health and have small children and that one hour affects both of those in ways one would not otherwise expect. Yukon Territory has recently decided to stop with the DST nonsense and that should put even more pressure on BC to follow likewise.

I thought DST was Benjamin Franklin’s creation.

Now that we have electric lights, it really seems unnecessary.

I love the extra hour of sleep in the Fall, but the loss of an hour in the SPring throws my system off for a few days. Kind of like the jet lag you experience when flying east.
