The US is not alone in having it's economy crippled in this pandemic as every country globally is using the same basic measures to fight this Covid 19 virus. Yup, for whatever reason this is the worst pandemic in living memory.

Which shows us that no matter what type of government you live under they all basically think the same.

Yes, you could take it to mean that or that the virus dictates how it is to be dealt with regardless of the type of government a country has. Which I think is more to the point as the virus knows bupkis about types of governments.

Whenever any crisis occurs it I guess it's comfortable to look for a scapegoat or reason in the realm of some conspiracy theory or another. However, you just gotta sit back for a minute and use your grey matter and consider all the facts might just be out there in front of you not on some social site being spun like some old yarn.

As of today the US has had 4 million infections. Looking at the chart in the link, it is starting to rise exponentially and at that rate it will be a little over a week before the 5 million mark is hit. Maybe time to reconsider wearing of face masks, social distancing and avoiding large gatherings?

Bob as you know I have no problem with wearing a face mask, keeping a distance while in public and avoiding large gatherings.

Personally I think that those that do have a problem with such simple acts are selfish, only considering themselves and not thinking about how their actions are like the old adage of dropping a single pebble in a calm pool of water creates ripples that spread far from where the pebble was dropped.

Some are also ignorant and don't realize how their actions can affect others.

And of course there are always the ones who know what their actions are capable of doing but have their heads so far up their derriere that they can't see the light.

This is the old U.S, land of the free and ain't nobody gonna tell me what to do.

As long as we have these troglodytes things won't change and we will never ever be rid of this virus cause 10s of millions here alone will refuse the vaccine and that combined with (probably) a less that even 90% effectiveness will ensure it's propagation.

Maybe they need to erect camps and put all the non compliers in there to protect the general population. You know the old saying about no accounting for stupid.
