Those big packs of bacon ends and pieces at the store have gotten me through some tough lean times. Lots of salt yes but not as much as dear old SPAM. Even the lower sodium SPAM wreaks havoc on me. But I'll still break and cheat for a Hawaiian plate lunch any day. A little Musabi for the soul mmmmm.

Speaking of Brits. Just got done watching 1917....good WW1 movie. Glad to see more movies on the great war being made these days. No war is better than the other I reckon but damn that trench warfare was some nastiness.

The other night after we got the kids to bed, my wife asked me to pick out a movie to watch so I start flipping through the DVDs ( yep we still watch movies that way) so I asked her, "how about Stephen King's The Stand?" She looked at me with with the biggest stink-eye I've ever seen and she said, "You've GOT to be kidding". We ended up watching Ford vs Ferrari, great movie by the way.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

    Operation Isolation Day 19:

I finally got out into the woods and got close enough to the dead tree I dropped last month to Buck it up and get it on the Log Splitter
I swear it was so nice to be outside in what little sunshine we have had lately, I spent hours, I was having so much fun I actually Shaved the bark off the logs LOL

Looks like a little more sunshine tomorrow I might have to trip another tree

Nothing much new up here, we have our third reported positive case in the county but so far none are community spread and have had no contacts here..
They, of course, are not real forthcoming with the official details, HIPAA stops that but we are getting enough..

No word on if Idaho is going to lift the stay order on the 15th as originally planned or the 30th as the Feds are recommending

    Stay Well

I wish my leader inspired me half as much with his words.
    YMMV.
I love our Monarchy. The Queen and the Royal family is our last remaining heritage. In a country where it's increasingly difficult to proud of and our national identity is slipping away, our Majesty is a ray of hope and a pillar of strength.

    God Save the Queen.
