Still have to go grocery shopping for my Mother in Law who is in a seniors complex and confined to her room as are all residents there. Will bring the groceries to the front door and staff will take them up to the room. Life has changed and you have to roll with the punches. Everyone keep healthy.

My original dept manager once told about how one winter a friend of his invited to spend a week at their parent's 'cabin' way up in the mountains. He accepted and they drove as far as they could then used a snowmobile towing a 'cargo sled' to get their gear and supplies to the cabin.

Once there he found it to be an older two story 'house' and the snow was so deep that they walked through an upstairs door that was on a landing!

They hauled everything in and he found a wood stove in the kitchen and a barrel stove in a central room. One room off of the main room was a fully stocked woodshed but no refrigerator so he asked his buddy how they would keep the beer and other supplies cold since the inside would be warm.

His buddy opened one door to show him a wall of snow and started cramming beer cans into it. He hollowed out an area to hold the other supplies that needed to stay cold.

They melted snow for their water and he said it was one of funnest times he'd ever had.

I would love to have some pictures of that event.
