Don't worry, I have your mailing address--

Four years ago when you were here, I'd mentioned a couple of things about the bike I'd like to upgrade--

One was the seat since it was starting to tear and you said you had a spare that you'd send me (which you did)---however even though they were both Softails, the seat wouldn't begin to fit so I mailed it back. I ended up buying an aftermarket Mustang seat identical to the one you had on your fat boy.

Second was the bags as they had already drooped and were shrunken and you said, you like to have those bags on one of your bikes.

They were never going in the trash. Once this virus crap settles down, I'll package the bags and all hardware and they'll be on their way to some one in TN who will give them the love they need.

The price of gas now a says you should probably deliver them.

You could do the Iron Butt.

Of course curbside delivery and social distancing would have to be in effect

    I like your thinking---

However I'm too damn old to do an Iron Butt--I look forward to a comfortable bed at the end of day. I can't recall the mileage but my record for a day in the saddle is 13 hours and that motel was sure a welcome sight.

Yep saddle sore 1000 miles 24 hours. Butt burner 1500 miles 36 hours, I have the patch for some of both, including a few on a hard tail. But like you Roy I do like to shut down after 10-12 hours anymore. Of course we could do a geriatric hemroid ride, 25 miles in 12 hours with 3 naps along the way

But then we'd beat the record for miles traveled in a day that it took you when your lovely wife made you stop every few miles so she could go into a store to check it out---I think that averaged about 100 miles a day if I remember correctly---

You are correct, took a week and a half to go to Milwaukee from Memphis,, it’s 740 or so miles door to door, but we did stay in St. Louis a whole day
