Well, you know they keep finding out all the bad things this virus can do to you no matter how asymptomatic you might be. If you agree not to tell anyone I'll tell you what a Government Scientist told me the other day. He said a few months down the road and based on genetic analysis everyone who carried the virus will suffer the fate of being turned into....you guessed it....ZOMBIES.
So far that's 3 million plus right here and soon they will be crossing the northern border so you had better watch out. They be very hungry. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Don’t worry they’ve banned all our assault style rifles here. We will defend ourselves with hockey sticks and the few long guns we have left.
I bought a house in January before this all hit and surprisingly got the home for lower then asking. The market has stayed the same here and there is still bidding wars going on though.

I hope they are at least paying full market to turn the stuff in. Sucks.
I expect most ALL Canadians are law abiding. Sad to see them pay for someone's criminal act.
I have always been impressed to see the disposable income some Canadians have.

Thanked: 4830There are a lot guns on the list. Most have been on there for some time. Most Canadians have a stack of hunting rifles. Assault riffles, not so many. It’s funny every time some nut job goes on a rampage, you’d think they would increase the mental health budget, but the finger always points to the symptoms, never the problem.

Might be interesting to see. Back to the OP, money to spend seems limited as stuff to spend it on.
Next thing you know, giving it to the neighbor and all, I digress..

Here in Ohio, your lucky to find a boat for sale. Folks have nothing better to do, right now, and the lakes and parks are the only thing open, besides a few of the larger bars around the lakes.
On the weekdays, the lakes look like a typical weekend.
On the weekend, the lakes look like a holiday weekend, on steroids.
That's what people are spending their cash on, here.
Then they bring their wreck, that looks like was bought from pearl harbor, into our shop to spend oodles of cash to make sea worthy. Folks have gone nuts.!!
Had a guy invest over $2300 to get a 30 some year old outboard , up and running again. A couple grand more...could have a new one with a warranty, and no noise and smoke from a 2 stroke engine.Mike

Damn! You guys are bumming me out. Too much doom and gloom here. I just can't do the bummerman thing. I believe in capitalism, I believe in people and mainly I believe in the innate desire to survive no matter how many backs we have to break to do it. All things are cyclical. If one thing goes down then something else comes up. If home ownership goes down then get into rental if rental property goes down then get into sales. Be willing to reinvent yourselves. I think somebody has been isolating for too long. Now I know why my mother used to tell us to get out from in front of the TV and go outside and play something

Thanked: 3228The type of Capitalism you likely believe in, as I do, has left the building a while back. There was a time when the stock markets was doing well it meant that good paying full time jobs were being created by companies reinvesting profits at home. Now, stock markets doing well does not equate automatically into new good paying jobs at home. The disconnect is why the middle class is in decline and for the first time in generations the next generation may have a lower standard of living than those that preceded it.

Folks wanted a world economy and that means those countries on the low end move up and those on the high move down.
The U.S is becoming more like Mexico. A few fabulously wealthy folks who own everything and control everything and a small upper middle class mostly high paid professionals and upper mid level business people and owners of medium sized businesses. Everyone else is part of the lower classes. if you be there it's just a matter of how low can you go.
