Default Show And Tell - Students Work Only

We show off our own work all the time. We also have a group of people here called "Mentors", and many of us are mentors outside of this realm. Passing on skills, knowledge and wisdom from one generation to the next is part of being human. I have found this stage of life to be even more rewarding than the learning stage, and we should never stop learning as well. So whatever it is that you are teaching, let's see what your students are making/learning.

To start off is what one of my students completed about a week ago. He is a young man in his early 20's and I believe that this is his second completed steel knife. He is already an expert at flint knapping, so he was excited to try modern materials.

Nice work, looks like my youngest son's 1st knives (I didn't teach him; he was mentored by a local knife-maker friend). Is that a cocobolo handle?

My students learn to put gas in the right hole. And load it so the man wont give them an overweight ticket. Its really nothing I can show. It does take around 5 weeks to learn But i guess as long as they do the job right it looks good on me too.

It's a mystery wood, left over from someone's kitchen remodel.
