Veteran's Day
Today is Veteran's Day. A salute to those that have served and a thank you for your service. I came of draft-able age with the Korean conflict but was turned down due to a near-fatal childhood illness. There have been times when, despite knowing that serving could be fatal due to circumstances, I would have benefited from having had the military experience. Today I say a private prayer for all those that have served.
