No spouse or partner...."Hmmm, I wonder what's on eBay......"....

Sorry, couldn't resist. I would say as hobbies/obsessions go, this is probably one of the least expensive and most beneficial - we can use our "collections" every day, we are maintaining a centuries-old tradition, we are protecting the environment (no more plastic disposo-crap in my trash), and we are maintaining healthy skin.

    Just my 2 cents.

    BTW, I have been married.....

Like Curley says in the Str8s in Film thread "So, are you married or happy?"

Default I can't believe some of you guys.

You don't give your wife enough chores to do if she's got time to complain about you being on the computer. If she's baking bread, washing clothes, doing dishes, scrubbing floors and other such worthwhile feminine endeavors, she's got enough to keep her occupied without nosing around what the king of the castle does in his well deserved leisure time.

All you guys, hand over your man cards.

Preventative maintenance in the form of flowers or a little jewelry or a nice dinner out are always worth their weight in forum time.........

Heh, preventative maintenance. I must say, I've fallen behind on a bit of that myself. Maybe that's where my problems are coming from

Married or not..."sparklies" are always appreciated....dinner, a massage, or a really nice gift just for the hell of it.

You were totally right! We were at a point in a nice conversation where I thought I might slip it in and WOW, it was like Mount Vesuvius! I quickly changed the subject and that was that for sure. I knew it was a bad idea, but darnit, hope springs eternal

Gentlemen, you will forthwith have my complete attention!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. She's just repeating what she heard her mother say...
