Thanked: 631Its not the pencil. No matter how long we have been using a straight we always manage to draw blood once in a while.

In this game, it's a good thing to have on standby

Thanked: 552A little bloodletting once in a while isn’t a bad thing. Lowers blood pressure and reminds us to pay attention when handling sharp objects, especially when we start to get proficient at getting them really sharp.

I should keep one in my toolbox, at work.

It seems like I cut myself in spurts. No pun intended. I won't cut myself for months and then I'll cut myself two or three times in one shave.
Oh yeah, if you dry the pencil with TP or a paper towel after and it will last much longer. If you leave it wet it will swell up and fall apart.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

yea, it's like I keep pretty complete first aid kit in the house. I haven't had to use it but it's nice knowing it's there.
