It is starting already with tourists using fake vaccination documents and not following procedures entering Canada since the border with the US opened.

The Dick Heads got off way to easy! I would prefer to see them get the 6 months in Jail AND the $750,000 fine. That would make them reconsider doing it again. It's people like this that makes getting back to normal so much harder.

Back in '76 I was competing in the National VICA Autobody competition and the Extemporaneous Speech after the competition was over we took a cruise to Nassau, while there they had a guy in jail for killing a fellow American. A month later they hanged him.

A few years ago a punk teen decided it would be fun to spray paint graffiti and do some vandalism in Singapore . They caned him.

We are always going to have to deal with people like these at any border in any country, we all have them. I'm sure there will other incidents when we open our border to other countries too. It is particularly frustrating when all countries are trying to control a pandemic.

Yes it is frustrating to all of us who have followed the rules, got vaccinated only to see people try and cheat just to get what they selfishly want.

I believe that by coming down hard with fines and jail time the message would resonate and become a deterrent to others.

Yep. lock them up and make them work for penneys to pay off a fine. Plus a manditory vaccination because of being locked up in close quarters with others. When you go to jail you loose your rights so make them get the shots while locked up.

Post in on world news for everyone to hear about. I know it wont happen but it sure would make people think before screwing around.

Yes absolutely crazy when people flood across a border without following the rules spreading covid across the country during a pandemic
