    Having spent many pleasant years living "North of 60", I echo your Thanksgiving wishes to our Canuck friends.

    PS: The 1990s CBC series "North of 60" was, and remains, excellent. If available, watch it!

    We cheated and had our Thanksgiving turkey dinner yesterday so just cleaning up the debris today. Have a good one everybody whether you celebrate it or not.

    Here in the U.S we celebrate Columbus Day today. In this part of the country it's about destruction of the native people his actions started.

    Some of us celebrate Columbus Day. In our house we instead celebrate Leif Erikson Day, Oct. 9th. Beat Columbus by 492 years.

    Happy Thanksgiving to all you in the great white north... even if you do celebrate it on the wrong day...
