Now it's my turn. I got the booster last night but I had no reaction to the first two so I'm crossing my fingers that this third one will be the same. I think I will go get my Flu shot in the next day or two. Just to get it out of the way.

I hope everyone will be able to get the Shots as soon as possible and we can get things back to normal before the end of next year!

BTW, They asked me if I was amino compromised, had a transplant, or have HIV. If I would have answered yes I would have gotten a full-sized third shot. Not just a half dose. So the Maderna shot is already taking care of what Pfizer is thinking of doing 6 months from now with the fourth shot for those with these issues.
Interesting. I had 2 doses of Pfizer but decided to go with Moderna this time for a third dose. Curious if they will give me the half or full since my immune system is compromised. Will find out on Monday. Flu shot tomorrow.

I too will get the Pfizer booster when available. In relation to the flu, with the combination of social distancing and people being conscious of personal hygiene, eg. regular hand washing etc, influenza activity in the community here in Australia is at historically low levels. I'm hopeful that the population will continue these hygiene practices into the future, but unfortunately people can have short memories.

I got the Pfizer Booster yesterday. I originally got the Moderna and the side effects were minimal. Not so this time. I have seriously bad body aches and headaches. I'm pretty much bedridden all day.

I think next booster I'll stick with Moderna.

I took the two dose Mederna shot. Both times I had a 48 hour headache, with fatigue and a loud ringing of the ears.

3rd Pfizer shot on the 3rd of Oct. Next to zero side effects. My wife did the same and felt crappy the day after.

Haven't gotten mine yet but planning to. The other one I have been planning on is the shingles vaccine. From what I have seen from people who have had it you really don't want to wait till you get it... shingles that is, not the vaccine.

The booster shot isn't generaly available in Ontario.

I asked my doctor about the possibilty of me getting a shingles jab myself, he told me that I would get it on my 65th bithday covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan, bit like National Health but not as comprehensive) or I could get one now if i paid $150 Can for it. I decided to wait, I did have the first of two pneumonia shots though. The second will be again when I'm 65.

I had a "mild" case of shingles 20 years ago. Believe me you don't want to get it. The itching is so bad you'll be thinking suicide.
