Yea, I think the farm egg is on the right. I believe the colour of the yolk depends on what the hens have been eating.

I don't know but my question is why buy eggs when you got chickens on the payroll?

I vote for the one on the right too. Gave some farm fresh eggs to a friend once and she was grossed out by how orange they were. I think she ended up throwing them away. I on the other hand am grossed out by eggs that are pale yellow.

The chooks have been laying for 13 months …and are now going into a molt stage. So egg production out of 9 birds ….has dwindled down to 1-2 eggs per day…..So I had to buy some. NOT HAPPY

If your going to buy store bought eggs, might as well be brown eggs. They have a richer flavor, and offer a better chance of having double yolks.
