You think that's scary... You should see what insurance costs are. How's $500, or more a month. And that only covers so much. The rest comes out of pocket, anyhoo.

So far I've paid less, than those with insurance

Not to digress, but I worked for Uncle Sam and with my great benefits I pay almost $900 a month and Uncle Sam pays around $1200 a month. That doesn't include copays and many other expenses which add up to thousands a year.

It's cheaper to go without until something happens and then you be in debt for the rest of your life and have a 600 credit score or less.

Good lord, $900 per month. I assume that covers your wife and maybe kids but even so, How do guys pay your medical insurance and still have a roof over your head not to mention eating or driving a car?

Our hospitals are free here in Canada and an Ambulance was $45 last I used one a few months ago.

I do pay for my own prescriptions (about $90 every 6 month) until I'm 65, then it's $4.11 only for each med.

Luckily insulin is cheap here, almost $100 for a box of 5 cartridges and they last me quite a while because I only use it when my sugar goes nuts.

OK guys, we need back on track.

Maybe a medical/ insurance thread. We might learn something that could benefit others.

    We is gettin old.....yup.

But......I stopped at a Arabic barber shop today. Was curious to what they might have . got a puck of William Marvy Co. shave soap.

    Merry Christmas... To me.!

Take care of yourself Mike. Getting old sucks but the alternative isn't so great either.

The wife is giving me a present I bought for myself. Wade & Butcher Barber's Special. I never even knew there was such a thing. From the measurements the seller posted it looks like it's a size up from the regular Special.

Hey, she will say to me, "Oh you bought me a purse or something else for Christmas," so I figured why not? What's good for the goose is good for the gander right?...

Not only is she the first millwright I’ve ever hired without a penis, she is holding her own with all those that have one, and is really an asset to my squad from an energy perspective.
Her gift just took me back a step cause it’s so damn thoughtful. That I’m not used to from millwrights…..
Thorough with their work yes, but thoughtful,,, not so much.. most won’t even tell ya when your fly is down, hehe.

Cheers men. May we all feel that glow I did today, this holiday season!

Don’t know why people say I’m hard to buy for,,,,
Soo easy if you know where to shop,

Here’s to a hobby filled year lads. I needed a couple of these for some rather hard exotic wood turning projects patiently waiting on the bench, in the dust….
