Member Icons - Ranks
Hi all,
I have seen members with Blabbermouth icons and of course Mentors.
I have been searching, just to satisfy my interest but can't find anything about the different ranks so I would be grateful for some information.
Why do some members have the Blabbermouth icon and what is the criteria for it?
Are the Mentors invited or do they apply and what is the criteria for that?
To be clear, I am absolutely not interested in anything more than I already have (senior member) but would like to understand how those ranks work.Last edited by STF; 05-10-2022 at 07:14 PM.

You never realize what you have until it's gone -- Toilet paper is a good example

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Thanked: 1081The blabbermouth icons appear after 2000 posts. You can get rid if you so wish.
Now to become a mentor is strictly voted by existing mentors. After a series of interviews and character assessments you then go on to your initiation. Unfortunately I can't divulge into it but I will say its easier to get to the 33rd degree in Freemasonry.
After successful completion of initiation a bank transfer is set up and 50% of net income gets paid to SRP via a Swiss bank account.
I have been a mentor for a few years but my quest for enlightenment still burns.

I had to sign a contract that stated that I had the keep the beer fridge full.
Actually, One day I was approached by Ivan by PM. I was informed that I was chosen to be part of the Mentor group. I could accept it or pass and I accepted. I had no clue or warning of this. I found out later that a vote was taken of all the mentors who they wanted to add to the mentor ranks. Also at that time we had lost a few Mentors and needed to replenish the number of mentors in our group according to the number of active members. At least that was my understanding.
I know you have the ability to change your title as I changed mine to say what it says after the Giveaway was stopped. I just don't remember where it was at. Look around, you have the ability.Last edited by Gasman; 05-10-2022 at 09:13 PM.

Well, if you send me a "donation" I can see to it you become an SRP Colonel. If you want to be a Brigadier, now that will cost you. Maybe Command Sgt Major suits you more eh?
There are no ranks really. For members it's member and senior. Mentors are designated by Mgmt as folks who can help other members out. The mods are selected by the Admin who is basically the site owner and the mods run the place from day to day. I have no idea what a senior mod is.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

At one time I had an offer to become part of the mentor inner circle.
I turned it down in most part because of the title.
Once in a while I regret it because I don't see the inner workings.
