Thanked: 0Handamerican Club?
I just checked out handamerican's website, and it mentioned being a member of club to apparently order things? Does this mean you have to pay fees in addition to buying products?
More importantly, why exactly did this happen? This doesn't exactly make ordering from them any easier...

Thanked: 5i think it's something you can join if you order a lot of stuff, so members get reduced prices, as of yet i don't think you HAVE to join

It says he might restrict buying completely to club members though. I was thinking about getting that scary sharp system, it looked cool, and saw the note so I sent a mail asking for info about joining. Fingers crossed for good news.

I tried signing up, but no word yet about it. I got 1 spam email that I couldn't ID so I hope that wasn't a responce that got flushed...

Thanked: 5if you have to be a member to buy something, whats the point in being a member at all? membership should have perks like reduced prices. if everyone gets reduced prices, it wouldn't be anything special, just a site with some great prices. personally i think the whole membership thing is a dumb idea but obviously Keith has something in store for it

From what I read of the Club, he will offer special pricing to members on different products. Kind of like sale items that only members get offered.

Thanked: 0I understand about the special prices for being a member, but wouldn't that cater to people who do woodworking for a living or people who buy a lot of sharpening tools and compounds?

Thanked: 5like i said, good for the people who buy regularly, but not for the person who just wants a strop or some chromium oxide. I'll wait till he posts the details, but depending on how it turns out this could be something that makes me not buy from HA
