Thanked: 5Hi,
I just thought I’d share my hospital story. I had a Maxillary Osteotomy at the beginning of the year. Was a bit nervous about having the lower half of my skull cut off, moved and bolted back into place. The anticipation is always always ALWAYS the worst part. And of course they give you plenty of time to overthink the whole procedure. Needless to say, they gave me a myriad of pain meds and even offered me Percocet. I declined because that stuff scares me but they were surprisingly accommodating despite OHIP.
Bottom line: put me down for a picc line instead next time. Better a thin line through your veins than a stump for a leg!
Anyway, let us know how it all shakes out on Monday. You don’t need luck. Just something to keep your mind busy Take care and get better.
Well wishes from Windsor
Neal
