Nice guitar, never been a rick fan. You are spared my hate...
I've got
1986 Hamer Chaparral (Hot pink with black hardware... gotta love the 80's)
1989 (or so) American Standard Strat
Burn Brian May signature model
Schecter PT Elite with Gibson 490T pickups
Some green Fernandez super strat that I got on the cheap that's just a great playing little axe (ironically, this guitar gets played the most in my current gig)
Then there are the amps...."But you're not as confused as him are you. I mean, it's not your job to be as confused as Nigel. "

Thanked: 0Me too
Did the bar band scene for a living for a while in the 70's. '98 through '03 I was doing a Delta Blues solo act with resophonic and flat top guitars.

Thanked: 1587Similar story to before - started piano at about 7. Stopped at 14 because I refused to practice anymore. Took it up again at Uni, taught myself the guitar, discovered I could sing as well (useful for pulling the laydees ).
So now I play the guitar (Takamine, Maton), tinkle on the piano, and sing. Took a couple of singing lessons a few years back - turns out I'm not naturally a "light tenor" (how I sing in rock bands) but in fact a Bass-Baritone I can also do a passingly good impression of a counter tenor when the situation arises (not often, admittedly).

Recorder and Saxophone here. A little drums but self taught (no-good). I was a better teacher than student It was awkward when my student beat me out for first chair in the band but still had a lot to learn from me. Now I pull out the recorder every so often to seronad?sp? my wife and play with a penny whistle to goof off for the neighbor kids.

Guitar lover here, as well...
I have owned many guitars, but the ones that stuck are my trusty Squier Strat '86, Handmade guitar (PRS like), that I made for myself, and a bass that I also made for my self (that one looks like Warwick). I am sorry I sold my 335 like HB30, from Washburn, but it was too heavy, and I am looking for an Epiphone Casino anyways...
My amp is '72 Fender Vibrolux Reverb, 2x10"... Gorgeous sound. I accidentally run over it (well, actually, tipped it) with my car, after leaving it in front of the car trunk, and forgetting about it when my pal asked me if I had forgot something in the garage Lucky it's nothing wrong with it...
For the pedals, Ibanez Metal Screamer, and Jen waxwax...
I have just returned from a 5 day festival in Bulgaria, where we had three gigs. I might post pics, when I get them from my pal photograph...

I grew up loving all music and playing mostly 80's metal. Started with piano as a youngster, then drums, guitar then bass where I played in numerous bands and sang. Played all the old hair metal and then speed/thrash: Dokken, WASP, Metallica, Megadeth, Motorhead and Slayer. Fun stuff but my joints are pretty stiff to play worth a damn now!
