I've never even heard of these things- looks pretty mean! You might check for a spray that you can border your house with. I used to live out in the sticks with lots of black widows and brown recluses. No way to get rid of them that I found, but bordering the house with a spider spray really cut down on how many I had in the house. Usually it'd last the summer, but sometimes it needed touching up.

    For indoors, fog fog fog!

I agree with Quick Orange, perimeter spray and fogging.

I also found this site that me be of interest to you.

Where I live occasionaly we get a few Red Backs, White Tips, Funnel Webs and Wolf Spiders in the house which I just catch and release in the neighbours yard.

As for infestations, I have Daddy Long Legs and Huntsmans. Daddy Long Legs are a nuisence but easily maitained by knocking down their webs on a regular basis and as for the Huntsmans, well I quite like them, they keep the mozzies and flies at bay so they stay.
