Australia is currently on the brink of a national election. One of the things the current government has taken a bit of flak on is their use of taxpayer-funded ad-campaigns purporting to be public announcement and information material.

Whether that's the case or not, a community group actually managed, through public donations, to get a spoof ad played on national television yesterday during the AFL Grand Final (like the Super Bowl in the US, sort of).

Please, this has no political or environmental point. I just thought it was funny, and that you guys might like to know what we are experiencing as voters here in Australia at the moment.

I thought that ad was great when I fist saw it, I was glad to see that it's independently funded too.
