What did I miss? I had a quick browse but I haven't seen a Lou wheightloss thread? In fact, I haven't seen much of Lou at all lately.
losing 33 lbs is quite a feat and I hope you can keep it up Lou.
I have lost 9 lbs over the last 2 months. Instead of doing everything I can to lose weight, I've decided on a way of life that I can live with (i.e. still enjoy life) and then letting the weight drop naturally as a result.

Yes, sometime ago I saw '28 and counting' but I didn't know what it meant.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Heard from Lou today!
He has now officially lost 37 lbs! Never did like these smilies, but thought they would be appropriate!

I suppose we're applying some good pressure by keeping track of his weight.
Maybe we can start one called: "Has Justin gotten a life yet"
Justin
Mark, I don't like those smilies either --- I'm just not a smilie guy in real life.
You would never see me do this or but maybe this or this

I use this one a lot in real life with my oldest daughter.
It got started when she was not even a year old. The swimming instructor gave her a thumbs up whenever she did something really well.
The habit has stuck, so whenever she does something to impress us, we or she says 'big thumb' and then we do the thumbs up and press our thumbs together.
A silly habit but kind of endearing.
And yeah, going strong LouTil shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
