It's been a while coming but now the pressure is really on to find a new field or go back to school.

    Hold me in your prayers.

Tim, I must have misunderstood your occupation, I thought raising the hunds was your full time occupation. I was trying to talk the wife into one (hasn't worked out well for me). Either way, hope everything works out well for you, good luck.

You could start expanding you talents for home brewing... I have no idea how that would work out for you in MI, considering the microbrew audience there, just a thought.

yes.... no work..... this is why I left Michigan to begin with.

Good luck Tim, and that's coming from someone who knows how tough it is up there right now.

You could always go work for the state..... oh wait....... right........

    I'll pray for you Tim,

I've been going through the transition myself for 6 years now. My only advise would be don't choose computers unless you have some really good contacts and don't mind travelling a lot. I thought I had a safe choice in computers and process automation but they still found a way to send most of the jobs over to India and China.

Some suggestions would be to take Crown Financial's aptitude tests to see what you like doing and how you can go about earning a living at it. Self employment while trying to figure out what you're going to do is a good thing. You may have several trades you're good at that can be marketed through word of mouth for some short term cash jobs while trying to figure what to do.

    Please keep us posted.
