It is sad to see a young man with so much going for him pass away at such an early age, even if he did himself in.

Heart disease is something that you can have simply because of your genes. I'm not sure what your shaving technique is, but it must be atrocious if you could possibly cut your throat. Even if you somehow did cut your throat, I should hope it was an accident. I count both of those as way different than suicide or substance abuse, which is a clear choice.

I have been on many pills for many different types of things, and to OD so bad that you die is harder than it seems. Insomnia's a bitch, but it's also not that difficult to drug yourself safely.

It is extremely sad that he's dead. I feel bad for his daughter especially. If he did do it to himself, I'm sad that he felt like that was the solution. If he didn't, I'm sorry that his life had to end so quickly, as he had a good thing going with family and career. He was a great actor and his talent will be missed.

I do retract my statement about him being an addict. I was thinking of someone else and I tend to get a little lysdexic in my head when I multitask

Here in Perth WA we are ver sad over Heaths passing, he may have suffered from the black dog, it aint no fun. Howsomever my condolences to his family friends and work mates. I thought him a fine actor and will miss his screen presence. I feel strongly that the press hounds public figures, I may enjoy what they present to the public but I have no interest in there private lives, and private they should stay.

    Cheers to all

    FWIW... from TMZ:

    Early Wednesday afternoon from WCBS:
Sources close to the investigation tell CBS 2's Investigative Reporter Scott Weinberger that along with the prescription drugs that were found in the apartment, police also recovered a rolled up $20 bill with narcotic residue on it.

Sources add they also found several drug packets containing an unknown substance. CBS 2 has learned these items were all listed on the official police report from the scene.
Early Wednesday, the medical examiner's office said an autopsy was inconclusive and that a complete investigation would take another 10 days.

By black dog -- do you mean depression? I think that's what Winston Churchill called his episodes of depression.

If my technique was perfect I wouldn't need to hang out here. ;-)

    Why not?

Evidently "why not?" isn't long enough to fill a post, so I need to add some more. So there...

Justin, you are correct. One of my mates here in Gidgegannup knows Heaths uncle who also lives up here, I may be able to find out if the depression bit is correct.

    Cheers
