I'm a Dewalt guy.. I got a couple 14.4 cordless drills, a 14.4 right angle drill and the 18v combo pack. (drill/driver. goosneck light, circular saw and reciprocating saw)

I wanted to get the cordless jigsaw and the cordless grinder. But after some thought I realized that I don't need to grind off locks every day... Oh wait I meant to say, I don't need to grind off protruding nails....

    I have a Bosch 14.4 volt.

It came in a case with a 30 minute charger and two bosch bluecore batteries.

A friend left it in his driveway and ran over it.

    The case is dead.

    Charger too

The drill is still pristine and both batteries are fine.

I count that as a win.

Well after some research, I decided to get a Panasonic 12v, 3.5Ah Ni-Mh , 1/2" chuck . As my aging retired Army Ranger of a neighbor would say , "It's one chunk of goods" . The fit and finish are excellent, feels and sounds very well built --- great drill. I see Panasonic in a different light now.
