Just my Thanks!!
To this board as a whole for existing.
I've been recently exploring another hobby and have as a consequence been spending a lot of time on another message board. Now while that is not as gentlemanly a hobby as this I really didn't expect the total lack of decorum I encountered. So thanks:
Thanks for being polite.
Thanks for not swearing unless appropriate.
Thanks for using spell check or having enough natural ability to get spelling close.
Thanks for your use of punctuation.
Thanks for knowing at least the rudiments of grammar
I didn't think that there was anywhere that all of these things could be lacking, yet there is. I didn't think that it would bother me so much if these things didn't happen but it does.
Thanks for being articulate gentleman even at our most heated.
Its nice to get to play in a place of such standards.

+1 Here, here!
This is the friendliest and most gentlemenly group I've ever belonged to, and has become a huge part of my day (as evidenced by the shock to my system when the forum was down for a couple of days!).

Me too. I love this forum. Even though I don't do much in the way of razors (other than use them) I continue to come back here simply because everyone on here is freakin amazing.

Sounds like you've been to a gamer's or paintball forum
+1 on everything you said though. I quit a forum that I had 10,000 posts on because it went from being like we have here to waaaay worse. We have such a lovely place

I'm a regular on a street bike-oriented motorcycle forum and it takes a while to get used to their brand of "English." Ofcourse there's a good number of young punks whose IQ's are lower than their age, so one has to put in the effort to filter out the noise.

Thanked: 335Wildtim,
Yup, it is nice to be able to read what someone has to say without attempting interpretation. Courtesy here seems to be taken for granted, as it should be. So, I guess we're special...give me a moment while the blush cools. You're right, and on behalf of all the others who haven't replied yet, thanks for the kind words.
