Thanked: 1So cold....
So there's a storm blowing in southern Alberta tonight at right now it's -43C with the wind (that's around -45F for the imperial folk). So cold your boogers freeze when you go outside.
From the environment Canada web page...
"An intense low pressure system developing over Montana will interact with a strong winds behind a cold front currently moving southwards through southern Alberta to generate blizzard conditions beginning this evening"..."Brisk winds will continue to be from the north at 20 to 30 km/h. The very cold temperatures combined with the wind will produce extreme wind chill values below minus 40 tonight into Monday morning. High risk of frostbite. Exposed skin can freeze in 5 to 10 minutes or sooner depending on wind speed."

I like to get one or two good snow storms a year - the kind that deaden sound. So far, we've had jack here in NY

Here in Ottawa, it was deadly cold here also last week (-35 with the wind)...but with these crazy weather patterns, it's supposed to be +2 tomorrow?
I'm not ever going to say "Global Warming" but I will most definitely say "Climate Change". It's like a pinball the way the weather is bouncing around this winter!
