This is the first thread I come to in the morning when I get into work ... it really does bring a wee smile to my face .. I also love the 'what do you look like ' thread -- it's brilliant to actually see some of the good folk you chat with ..

I'm a seventh generation Canadian and the first generation of my direct line to be raised out of Nova Scotia. That's here since 1804. My partner is a second generation refugee so while her parents were the first generation here, her child will be the eighth. Funny that.

This isn't too surprising, but I'm better educated than any of my ancestors ever were at my age. I'll need to get a Bachelor's Degree by retirement to keep up with my Grandmother.

I prefer to go shoeless. Sandals are best. FREE THE TOES!

I'm entirely opposite- unless I'm inside, I prefer shoes. It's some crazy quirk I guess, but I have extreme problems going barefoot, especially outside (unless it's your yard- that doesn't count).
