It was a good day that - I remember it well. I am holding the toy - the photo was taken by one of our 'dogsbodies' as they are called. Every SAR team needs a pool of volunteers who lay down on the hill in bivi bags quietly and wait to be found. The reward for finding a body, and bringing the 'master' to it, is a big play with 'daddy' - no food is ever used as this could have consequences if an injured body has a stash with them. That weekend was one of those when he just responded to every command whistled from a couple hundred yards - lovely.

Now that's a handsome pooch (not to take anything away from all of the other fine specimens posted so far)

My Labs.....this was almost a year ago but I don't have a newer pic with me. Dargo is 5 now and Jothee is about 1 1/2......two of the nicest dogs I've ever known.

    Default Another Shiba family!

We have a pair of Shiba Inus'. Mika our girl and Yoshi the only other guy in the house.

We also had an "addition" of a litter if three pups in December! We have small (Harley), medium (MoMo) and large (Chief). Stunned that they were house-broken at 4 weeks....

The pic of the pup on the couch is Harley.

Benny is a 6 month old quaker parrot I got just before Christmas. Looks adorable here.
Looks can be deceiving. He is always looking for something to chew on including me.

Here is me (right, beard) with a buddies 17' burmese. I was into reptiles very deeply and would still have many if it wasn't for moving all the frigging time.

    Me with my favorite lizards

Never let someone that has dispatched hundreds of thousands of fur barers for scaled pets, pick a furry thing as a pet (my wife says it's a Karma thing...) I'm stuck with the evil thing (she adopted me). Doesn't tolerate the rest of the family and loves me. I'm NOT a cat person... or anything with fur person. So now I have to wait till this fur hurking creature passes on so I can get back to my scaley pets.....
