    Default Another cute kid story!!

We were sitting down to lunch yesterday, that is me, my wife , and our three children. We were having chicken soup when my four year old spilled about a tablespoon of broth on the table. He promptly grabs his napkin to start cleaning his mess as I am getting up to fill a cup of water for our youngest. As I am filling the cup I hear my four year old exclaim proudly that he always cleans his mess up. I turn around to face him to tell him he is a good boy just in time to see him ringing out his napkin that he just used to clean up his into his soup bowl, saying once again, " I always clean up my mess"!

    What can you do?

    adorable!

I got a bunch of cute kid stories from working at disneyland, but my favorite was when I was playing croquet on the front lawn with a bunch of neighbor kids and my dog Othello was eagerly watching. One of the kids announced "thello wants to play too, but he can't because he doesn't have any thumbs."

OK, so, not only is my four year old a neat freak he is also a clothes horse! I was having trouble getting him to pick up his toys, so I told him I would take his favorite toy away if he didn't pick up. With a little sly smile he says "don't daddy". so I knew this was getting me nowhere, so I threatened to take away his favorite shirt. Well, he immediately offered me his favorite toy with an extreme look of agitation, I knew I was on the right track, and, needless to say, he picked up every one of his toys and even offered to pick up everything else on the floor!

He is definitely not my kid!!

As an EX-preschool teacher (2-4 year olds) I can tell you that you are a lucky guy. Most of the time it takes them to five or so to get the "Clean up the RIGHT way" thing. LOL

    That is a great story!
