Thanked: 20Swedish Glogg
This time of year this is a staple in my house... I used to have guys stop by when snowmobiling just to get a short mug of this to warm them up.
Swedish Glogg is a mixture of different boozes cooked with nuts, spices and dried fruits. You can use any kind of booze you want, but I have a fabulous mixture of port wine, vodka, rum and brandy that I use.. I am warming up 4 bottles of port wine with the spices right now to make my third batch this winter.. after the wine and spices simmer for a while, I will add the booze and set it on fire.. let it sit for a while and pour it back in the bottles. It is served warm in a mug and is just the thing for this time of year.. Anyone else make this?
