Gonna be a Daddy again!!
Hey Guys, just found out my wife is pregnant again! We have been trying for a long LONG time, since before the war kicked off. Im so excited I just wanted to share with everyone.
Now I need to convince my wife that it is customary to buy a NOS razor for every month of the pregnancy and a Robert Williams when the child is born. You know, for heirloom purposes...

Thanked: 6Congrats! I also just wanted to say I like the way you think. I may have to try your heirloom idea when my wife and I start a family.

Thanked: 1Hi Shaun,
Congratulations!
My wife is about 4 months along with our second. Its is a wonderful thing. My son (just over 2 years) already knows about daddy's strop and that you go "up" and "down" with itHe bugs me constantly for it when I'm shaving ("want this, please...") very cute.
I am already trying to work out what to do to ensure that he too can learn the straight razor shave.I'll probably get a good razor or two and put them aside for him.
Best of luck! Hope it all goes well.
Cheers,
Ash.

Thanks everybody, We are all very excited.
As far as cigars go, come out to Hawaii, and you'll get one! I"ve already got some robusto's in mind.
Ash, there was a thread a while back about guys buying a Zeepk for their kids to "shave" with. There were disputes about teaching the kids to play with sharp objects ect... I am thinking about getting one for my son though, he's 9. I think thats old enough to start learning the technique. Then I think what I'll do is maybe get a Wapi, rescale it in something nice and have it engraved when I give it to him. Something like
"For all three whiskers, love Dad"
Then when he can successfully shave and not kill himself, I'll buy him a nice razor and one for me too of course...
