Default Buying one Tony Miller Strop a week!!!

I absolutely love my original Tony Miller strop. In fact, I wish I had more than one. Not that the one I have is bad or anything, I just wouldn't mind one of his nicer upgrades. So, as I am pumping gas into my SUV today, I realized "Holy ," I am pissing away the chance to buy a Tony Miller strop a week just to fill up.

Imagine that, I could have a Tony Miller Strop a week for the price I am paying on gasoline. I could have a nice beautifully handcrafted piece of functional art but instead am pumping my vehicle full of good ol' quick burning 87 octane. And better yet, that gasoline gets me to my favorite place on earth, work."

If I could suck it up and ride the 60 miles round-trip on my bicycle, maybe I could afford a TM strop or two. Oh the things we do for a paycheck!

Ride that bicycle 5 times in a month and you got your next strop without spending any extra cash. I ride my bike frequently to work during the warm hours of the year.... yeah, summers are kinda short in Canada... I'm kinda hoping summer will fall on a weekend this year so I get to enjoy it.

Barring insane traffic in your area, you'd probably find it doesn't take you all that much longer to get to work unless you normally drive at freeway speeds. There is the "freshness" issue sometimes, I work outside and I'll be soaking wet in the summer heat anyway so if I get a little damp riding to work, it's no big deal.

    Just a thought....
