Is it just me, or...?
My computer started acting funny. I run Firefox, and when I woke up this morning I noticed I have to log in to everything, every time. I used to be able to go 2 weeks before having to log in to my email. Also, I marked "remember me" on here, and never had to log in. I just had to click on my bookmark and I was here. I've run my registry optimizer, Ad Aware, Norton, and cleaned and defragged my hard drive. What's going on? Did they patch FF where it won't remember passwords when I wasn't looking?

Under the FF preference pane, there is a tab called security, check to see that the box's are checked under passwords. Then make sure under the Privacy tab in the same FF preference pane, that the bottom box's marked Private Data are checked appropriately.. they are marked: Always clear my private data when I close FF(check the settings), and Ask me before clearing private data (if you are happy with your settings than is doesn't matter if that is checked or not.
Kind regards

Same thing happened to me...Firefox auto-updated about a week ago, and all I got was a box saying it would finish on the next restart. Coming back in I had to re-enter all my l/p for all the sites it used to remember. It still asked if I'd like Firefox to remember, so I just clicked yes and it hasn't been an issue since. I assumed it was just a quirk of my computer but must've been the update.

there also was a java update about the same time as the FF one... one or the other of them is the culprit. I notice lots of fields in forms display as yellow instead of the normal background color they used to have... very annoying IMHO.

Ok...I didn't think about the Java update. That's probably it. Wish I knew how to fix it, though. Having to log in every time sucks. Especially when I've got a bunch of different passwords to try and remember. I don't have a "preference" tab on my browser, at least that I could find.
