Actually, baywatch is considered for teens over here.
Nobody raises an eye, but that's probably also because by European standards, it doesn't contain anything that could be considered inappropriate.
My oldest kid likes the simpsons and we allow her to watch when we are present because not all episodes are suitable for 3 3 year old. We don't let her watch any of the halloween episodes, we prevent her from seeing itchy and scratchy, and if the episode turns graphic, we switch channels.
But three are lots of simpsons episodes that are perfectly safe for a kid to watch.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Thanked: 1587My wife's old anthropology advisor used to say the Simpsons was an excellent window into modern western culture, and used to use it in some of his lectures. He was also fond of Douglas Adams and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but that's another story.
Never seen Baywatch Hawaii, but if it's anything like the original Baywatch, it's an interesting programming swap - from what I recall there's a big difference between hearing Bart say "Eat my shorts" and watching Pamela Anderson's bum do the same...
