I thought of this while just out spraying my roses -

Regardless of how still the weather at the present moment, Murphy's Law states that:

Upon filling a spray bottle with a toxic substance, a breeze will develope, the force of which will be directly proportional to the toxicity of the substance you are spraying. And the directional vector of the breeze will be exactly 90 degrees perpendicular to your face, regardless of where you are standing.

Damn you Murphy!

This also applies to spray paint, as I learned yesterday and today. Also, if you shift positions relative to the object you are painting, the wind will shift with you.

I think this also applies to starting a campfire. No matter where you are standing with the smoke blowing in your face, if you change positions by 180 degrees, the smoke will still be blowing in your face.
