I just got a life time ban from Badger and Blade because I encouraged a member to try a straight after Joel said he shouldn't.

This forum leans towards DE razors, and they dabble in straights.
StraightRazorPlace.com is the place to go if you want to try a straight and don't want to hear why you should stick with a DE.

I'm afraid I just don't see the whole DE thing... I thought they used them because they were afraid of using a straight, until I saw that there is actually RAD for DE's... go figure. It's a different tool, and has different rules, but it will still out perform a mach 3.

Did you read this thread at all? That's the worst advice i've ever heard. The fella can't get the hang of a DE..... and you think he'll master a straight, and we're all DE users - so he should go elsewhere.

I responded that This was the straight razor section of a shaving forum, and that I'm here to help members learn to use a straight.

I also advised Joel that he was being unhelpful, and overly negative.
That it was understandable that the member was having trouble with a DE , and if he didn't want to provide assistance and encouragement he should go play with his DE new leg shaver...

Obviously B&B has no sense of humor.
