Thread: Ingenious Bioplastic

For anyone who doesn't want to read, a company based in Denmark is testing a bioplastic made from pig urine. Apparently there are 20 million pigs in Denmark, so the toxic urine is at least very available.

I feel that this underlines my argument about the oil supply never ending. We will increasingly see innovations such as this which take something abundant and useless and turn it into something we would normally use oil for. Of course not all of them will work, but even if just a few do, they will turn the tide that is amazingly high oil prices. I'm excited to see if this project goes anywhere, especially because of its environmental impact.
