Did you see LeBron's slam tonight?
The Celtics have done such a great job at minimizing LeBron in this series, that he let out all of his frustration on a slam with about two minutes to go tonight that went over three Celtics including Kevin Garnett. It will be on every highlight reel tomorrow! The last three games of this series will be worth watching -- it's almost like hockey basketball! GO CAVS!!!

Thanked: 26It was nice and all but I didn't think it was that nice. Maybe I have to see it a few more times. To me it was like most of his dunks.

It's really tough to be a Cleveland sports fan!
I guess you had to see the whole game to appreciate the significance of the dunk. But he was fouled twice seperately on the way to the rim, and he did blow over the NBA defensive player of the year nanoinches away from that dunk, so to me, it was that nice!! We should take a poll: Cavs or Celtics?
I guess LeBron's effort was overshaddowed by the Indians' game nobody watched going on about a thousand yeards away from the Cavs game' -- where Cliff Lee threw nine more innings of scoreless baseball (after 53 2/3 innings he's given up only 4 runs --- ERA: = 0.67) and Asdrubal (can you pronounce that?) Cabera had an unassisted tripple play!

RalphS, was that on tv? I have a heck of a time catching any Tribe games... ESPN seems to show Boston and NYY almost exclusively nowadays.

I saw both of those on the ESPN highlight reels today. LeBron's dunk was nice (heck, I can't do that), but Cabrera's triple play was...well, weird. I first read about it online, so I flipped ESPN on to see if I could catch it. I was expecting lots of jumping and throwing and heroics, but other than that catch he made on the line drive, the rest was nonchalant. In that respect, it was really cool, actually!
Now let's hope that the Browns and the Buckeyes give us a good football season this year! Cleveland's due for a title! ANY title! PLEASE!!
Not frustrated at all...

Thanked: 953LeBron didn't actually dunk on the Celtics. That was a media trick - they superimposed a year old replay onto the game coverage. It was the same people that made you think that the Indians were going to beat the Red Sox last year after going up 3-1 and that the Browns were going to beat the Broncos in that - I mean those - games back in the, um, eighies was it? Don't get your hopes up - you'll only be disappointed again. But now that the Browns have Belichek I'm sure they'll win a title....
