Thread: freaky people

who all here in SRP are into the stranger side of life for example covered in tats and/or piercings. And basically just stand out from the crowd in any way that makes you unique. what sets you apart from everyone else and makes you strange, wierd, or just a freak. ANYONE?????

that is an odd question to me because I seem to stand out in most places simply because I choose not to do these things to my body!

I'm a shaven-headed fellow with a goatee.. wait... we're a dime a dozen! ...Actually, I am a conservative and a libertarian in California.

And that's rare in these here parts.

Though my musical tastes are strongly influenced by my boomer parents.

If laying on a bed of nails while a cinder block is busted on your chest, eating fire or running a needle through your forearm makes you a freak then the line starts here!!!!!!!!!!

if doing nothing to yourself is how you stand out then thats cool. if layin on a bed of nails is your thing..... well i like that, sorry man but you are a freak but you know this world needs more open minded individuals you dont have to have tats or piercings to be a freak its all relative ad a sate of mind. most people dont realize that. they thik you have to look the part or act insane but thats not the case.

It's simple physics... Quite elementary my dear metalhead. It's a classic example of pressure - force per unit area. The brick is there to aid Doc because it actually absorbs the blow from the sledge hammer. It would be much more interesting if either the nails were a lot more spread out or the brick was removed.

Another classical pressure demo is the elephant vs. woman wearing high heels (who weighs 100 lbs). As it would turn out, getting stepped on by a woman with high heels exerts more pressure (~1500 psi) than an elephant (~75 psi). So I suppose if someone asks if you want to be stepped on by an elephant or a woman wearing high heels, you should choose the elephant.
