Wag Yer Tongue/Bite Yer Tongue
Here's the idea: You can post a very brief criticism about the presidential candidate you're against, but you must follow the criticism with the statement:"That being said..." followed by a complimentary statement, that is genuine and not not sarcastic or tongue in cheek.
I'll go first:
I think John McCain is a hot head who will continue the failed policies of the present administration. THAT BEING SAID, I think John McCain is an honest, decent man whose word I trust.
(Whew! That wasn't easy!!)

I think John McCain and Barack Obama are spineless puppets of the new world order and either one of them will continue to run this Republic into the pit of war, corporate fascism, and social despair. WITH THAT BEING SAID.... We don't really have a choice so let's enjoy the ride down

I think each and every one of the candidates (with the possible exception of Ron Paul) are career politicians who wouldn't know Personal Liberty if it came up and bit them, much less how to protect it and their constituents from a large, grasping gov't.
That said...
hmmmm. Well, they probably have other qualities, I guess. Good at golf? Honestly can't think of anything.

Both McCain and Obama have been the cause of much strife in the Conversation forum.
That said...
If it weren't them, it would be other candidates.

OK, I'll give it a shot.
I also think John McCain would continue most of the present administration's policies, and I honestly don't think the country can afford what would amount to a third Bush term.
That said, when his wife visited Mother Teresa's mission and witnessed the suffering of children there, they rescued not one, but two dying girls--adopting one and supporting an aide and his wife in adopting another. That was an act of the greatest generosity and kindness, far "above and beyond the call of duty."
