Thanked: 131Meeting SRP members in real life....
Today I met a lovely couple whom I met first online through SRP. They were open, honest, pleasant, charming and very friendly. They are the first members of SRP I have met in real life and I met them on a visit to Wales (despite living a stones throw away from another SRP member).
My question to you folks is- have you met anyone else from SRP? I dont mean spoken on flashchat/yahoo/msn or even videochat through skype or similar. I want to know have any of you met each other in real life?

I had a honing issue with a friends razor and hi_bud_ gl came over and helped reset a bevel, all I had were barber hones, he saved me a lot of time, work and frustration, and I got a first hand look at some other stones, instead of sifting through the debates here and trying to figure it out second hand. This guy is worth knowing and I will be happy to see him anytime. Thank you Sam!

I've had the pleasure of meeting Randy Tuttle in person. Our meeting was brief and I hope to have more time to spend going overboard in HAD talk, etc.

Unfortunately, nobody from SRP is living nearby... I am alone in my island in the centre of Europe
Next time I'll travel in the UK, Netherlands, France or Germany (those are the more likely, but why not the US, the dollar is interestingly low), I'll see if I can meet other members, maybe join a meeting...

i've met a bunch of people from SRP. i've been over to 2 other people's places to do honing group sessions and i had people over to mine 1 time.
always nice folks willing to share what they have and discuss the adventure we all participate in. and yes, each person has their uniqueness.

I haven't seen many Halifax (or Nova Scotia for that matter) SRP members. The upside is the antique stores, when they do get razors in, do not tend to get pillaged quickly.
