    Default Paypal / amex?

My primary credit card on my paypal addres is VISA.
I would like to add my amex, but when I get to the 'add card' form, it only shows mastercard and VISA.

Anyone knows why this could be the case (i.e. why doesn't it allow me to pick amex)
I plan on calling the local office tomorrow, but if I can prevent it, I'd rather not so I thought I'd ask.

Maybe they restricted Amex since they charge a higher percentage than MC or Visa. Not sure though since I use my Amex through Paypal

Probably amex is restricted to US only. I believe only paypal knows why but I suspect it's because of money. If you ask them they'll probably come up with something bogus about verification and such...

Yeah I called, and amex is not supported in the US.
And I can't even set up a dummy account (Hey I can live in the US if I want ) but they check the billing address so that won't fly.
    Pity.
