Default Save a blade--honing your DE

Looks like it may actually work, as opposed to those "magnetic field" blade keepers.

    Anybody try it?

I'll stick to my straights and Feathers, but I saw this on TV yesterday, and the image of the straight razor caught my eye!

Yeah, it basically looks like a miniature flap wheel for razor blades. Although I'm curious if it works as well as advertised, especially on multi-blade cartridges.

    Theoretically it might work.

Perhaps runing a M3 in reverse up a Crome ox strop would do the trick even better?

It might, but what a disgrace to the strop!

Hang on, a way to sharpen blades? Get 200 shaves from a single blade? Didn't someone already come up with that. What did they call it....I think it was...Straight Razor!

I mostly thought it was funny that they refer to a cartridge of up to four blades (or are there more these days) as "a blade."
