I do really hope that we are not involved. Some reports I have read do seem to be pointing fingers at us though. Some of those came from the BBC and other European papers. I just hope that the actions taken in this part of the world do not escalate into something much larger, possibly involving all of us.

In that case, we are in agreement on that last point. I don't believe there's anything to it at any rate. I know we had troops in Georgia but Georgia is helping in Iraq so it makes sense we would be conducting joint training, if only to reduce fratricide. At any rate, I would much rather this all simmer down than become a huge issue. I also wish we knew more about what was going on, there's a lot of pots calling kettles black over there, IMHO, and I'm sure the truth is somewhere in between. And has nothing to do with the U.S. OR Israel. Possibly a lot to do with oil (we Americans aren't the only ones who like it, apparently). Regardless its a mess.
