First Post on Badger and Blade gets me banned!?
Afternoon All,
Ok, so I'll admit I didn't look over their rules for their B/S/T before I tried to post, honest mistake; I didn't realize it was any different than on here. Apparently, while I was busy adding a second post for my FS thread a Mod posted for me to read their rules. I post a second post under the thread and see his post and then PM him to apologize. Then I try to delete my thread and I get banned forever. All in under four minutes, wow.
I sent an email to forum admin, but haven't heard back yet.
Any ideas, opinions, or help?
Very Respectfully,
Scott

Let's move this to "The Conversation" as it would be more appropriate here. Even though it is more appropriate here, the conversation around this should remain gentlemanly as possible. Insults and/or derogatory comments towards another forum will not be tolerated.
Thank you for your cooperation.

I understand completely, I don't wish to insult or degrade another forum in any way. I was just wondering what advice some might offer in the case aforementioned.
Very Respectfully,
Scott

The email / PM to the moderator or to an admin is probably your best bet. If you explain as you explained here, *I* would be lenient enough to give you another chance. Good luck!

Thanked: 1903Personally, I believe the best way forward is to confront them them with two simple truths:
- You are totally new to leg shaving.
- You were never interested in marriage aids in the first place.
That really should do the trick.
Ooops, sorry, missed that part. Never you mind, though. Personal experience, for all things straight razor, you will be better off here.
ByronTodd, do you not dare to ban me for this post. Or else.Last edited by BeBerlin; 08-12-2008 at 11:19 PM.

Thanked: 131+1 on that. The only thing I hear about B+B is people posting here confused about why they have been banned on B+B. Much like yourself. On the other hand here people are falling over themselves to help you.
Gentlemanly enough for you Byron? I tell you I had to do several drafts of this post....

I was just into the buy/sell forum at B&B - your name is not showing banned under it ... you may now be unbanned!

Just checked, still banned forever.
I have come to enjoy the community here, especially that fact that everyone wants to help everyone. I was just trying to spread around to different places some things I am trying to sell. In fact, before I was banned I received a PM about one of my items for sale, but couldn't reply because of the ban.
I think the Mod that I was dealing with went by AACJ, but I can't do anything over there now besides log in/out.
Thanks again for the input!
Very Respectfully,

Thanked: 953Hopefully they will un-ban you [never thought I'd use the phrase "un-ban"].
But if you are forever exiled and need a second site beyond SRP, shavemyface.com is another great site, particularly for soaps/creams/fragrances, and their straight razor forum is rarely frequented but as a result if you post there, you will get instant feedback from a couple of guys that really know their stuff. Between that and SRP you should be in shaving site heaven.
